| Ex MLA Faqir Nath accorded rousing reception at Kauran Nallah | | | Early Times Report
Jammu , June 12 : Panthers Party workers accorded a rousing reception to their former MLA Faqir Nath during the latter's one day visit to Ghordi Block.
Faqir Nath was received by Sarpanch Makhan Singh, Sarpanch Parsidh Singh, Naib-Sarpanch Jagdev Singh, Suram Singh (Block Secretary Ghordi), Ex-Sarpanch Baldev Singh and others.
Speaking on the occasion, Panthers Party Block President Des Raj, Young Panthers Block President Jagdev Singh and others described Panthers MLAs contribution towards development of Ghordi as significant.
They said that it was Prof. Bhim Singh who built Udhampur-Ghordi road and got Ghordi Block from Sheikh Abdullah and even Ghordi Block was declared as backward in spite of opposition from Congress, BJP and NC.
The Panthers Party leaders congratulated Faqir Nath for continuing legacy of Prof Bhim Singh in building, new roads, opening new schools and developing infrastructure of the Block in the area.
Addressing a series of workers meeting at Nallah-Kauran, Ghordi, Langa and other places, Faqir Nath thanked Prof Bhim Singh for setting up JKNPP in the interest of the suppressed and oppressed people of Jammu from Poonch to Kishtwar and Bani to Banihal. |
