| Doda 10+2 contractual lecturers raise demands | | | Early Times Report
DODA, June 12 : A meeting of 10+2 contractual lecturers forum of Distt. Doda was held under the presidentship of Tanveer Ahmed at Doda. A memorandum of demands were prepared at the meeting.
The demands include increase in the monthly remunerations of the lecturers working in far flung areas of Doda district. Regularization of lecturers most of whom are on the brink of crossing the age limit for recruitment in govt service.Wages of the contractual 10 plus 2 lecturers be brought at par with those of the permanent lecturers.Wages of the winter vacation period may also be paid to the contratctual lecturers at par with lecturers engaged on academic arrangement basis in Degree College of J&K.The 10+2 lecturers engaged on academic arrangement basis be included in the "CIVIL SERVICES SPECIAL PROVISION ACT OF 2010". After the meeting a deputation led by the president met Deputy Commissioner Doda, Chief Education Officer Doda and presented the above memorandum to them. |
