| Sushila meets Chief Engineer, EM&RE | | | Early Times Report
Jammu , June 12 : A deputation of Sainik Colony led by Sushila Jamwal, District President, PDP Mahila Wing Jammu met with Chief Engineer, Electric Maintenance & Rural Electrification (EM&RE), Jammu and apprised her about the acute shortage of electricity and water in Sainik Colony area.
She said that due to frequent power cuts life of the people has become miserable. The Chief Engineer Shahnaz Goni give them a patient hearing and said that she is aware of the problem and has already send proposal to the Planning and Development Department for release of funds so that the remedial measures be taken to ease out problem of the people of the area.
She further assured the deputation that as soon as the funds are received their area will be taken up on priority basis.
Sushila Jamwal thanked the Chief Engineer and urged the Commissioner/Secretary, Planning and Development Department for early release of funds so that the people of the area may not suffer any more for want of regular supply of electricity and water. |
