| Three-day Sindhu festival begins in Leh | | | Early Times Report
Leh, June 12: The annual three-day Sindhu festival begins here Tuesday. Jammu and Kashmir's tourism minister Nawang Rigzin Jora will inaugurate the festival. The festival will be celebrated on the bank of river Indus.
According to reports, the Sindhu festival attracts tourists to Ladakh. The state's department of tourism is organising the event and is fully prepared to showcase every aspect of Ladakhi folk culture to the visitors.
The main attraction of this festival is Ladakh's folk culture, a polo match, Ladakhi archery and Dogri dances. |
