OP Sadbhavna: Naushera children return with rich memories

Jammu , June 12 : An Educational-cum-motivational tour to Lucknow and Allahabad was conducted for the young children of Naushera region. The tour, which had been flagged-off from Naushera on 02 Jun 12, was flagged in on 12 Jun, on its return to Naushera.
It was a great learning experience for the young children from the remote areas of Naushera to know about and experience first-hand the culture, the way of living of the people of those regions and also about the historical importance of those cities. The Children visited the British Residency, Shaheed Smarak, Rumi Darwaja, Bara Imambara, Chhota Imambara, Art Gallery, Ambedkar Park, Kanshi Ram Park and Prerna Sthal, Saharaganj Mall, Hazaratganj, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited in Lucknow and the Allahabad fort, Sangam, Anand Bhawan, Swaraj Bhawan, Nehru Planetorium, Allahabad Museum, Chandra Shekhar Azad Park, Indian Institute of Information Tech, the Services Selection Board (SSB) Centre and the Khusro Bagh in Allahabad.
It was also an opportunity for the children to interact with the locals from those regions for the first time in their lives, and for exchange of thoughts with them.
The tour was flagged in by the Commander of Naushera Brigade.
The Commander congratulated the Children, as well as their parents, for the successful completion of the eventful and productive tour by the children, which would further enhance the knowledge of the youth of Naushera, about the culture prevailing in other parts of India, and he also appreciated their role as `angels of peace'.
