Jammu , June 12 : A ten day Summer Camp at MV International School 17 miles, Jammu concluded today in which a large number of students participated to explore and display their creativity. Mrs. Savita
Bakshi (Additional secretary Art, culture and language Dept. J&K) was the Guest of honour, H.L Abrol, the chairman, Gaurav Abrol the director and several prominent local personalities were among others present on the occasion.
The participants in the Summer Camp exploited the opportunity and enjoyed taking part in a number of engrossing activities like Pottery, Football, Martial Arts Training, Yoga , Dancing and Music , Stitching and Embroidery, Calligraphy, English speaking and Personality development and cooking as well.
A Dance expert from Gurukul Dancing School, State President Patanjali Yogpeeth J&K ( Deepak Sharma) and an experienced Potter imparted training in their respective fields.
The chairman H.L Abrol exhorted the students to work hard and make the best use of all the facilities available to them. He impressed upon the teachers to adopt the latest methods of teaching to make the process enjoyable and facilitate learning . The chief guest gave away the certificates of participation and gifts to the students. |
