| LeT ultra alongwith his family infiltrates from PoK | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, June 13: A Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT) militant alongwith his family, including three children infiltrates into Indian side in the wee hours from Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) in Poonch district.
The detainees have been identified as LeT ultra Mukhtar Ahmed son of Haji Manzoor Hussain of Hari Morithe, Surankote in Poonch district, his wife Sakia Begum, their children namely Mohammed Rashid, Movia, and Hasrat Fatima.
According to the sources, the said militant was sent to PoK by the LeT militants for arms training in 2003 crossed into this side from Phagwari Gali on the Line of Control in Mendhar tehsil of Poonch district.
"As soon as the ultra alongwith his family entered into this side he and his family was detained by the army men in Krishna Ghati Sector in Mendhar, sources said.
They said that the ultra and his family was sent for interrogation in the army camp to ascertain their motive, while a police team from Poonch have also rushed there to take the custody of the detained persons. |
