Army Jawan killed, three injured in Pak's ceasefire violations

Jammu, June 13: An Army jawan was today killed and three others were injured critically in the heavy exchange of fire across the Line of Control at Krishna Ghati Sector of Mendhar tehsil in Poonch district, following a cease fire violation from Pakistan side.
"Some armed intruders were noticed by the Army men in the forward area of KG Sector, and they were challenged by the army troopers," the sources said, adding the intruder in response opened indiscriminate firing on the Indian posts. They said that the heavy exchange fire started between Indian army and Pakistan army which left one army jawan critically injured and he succumbed to his wounds. The deceased was identified as Harjinder Singh.
