| JDA employees continues their hunger strike | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, June 13: The strike of Jammu Development Authority (JDA) Employees Union today entered into 22 day. Anil Bakshi and Zakir Hussain replaced their leader on hunger strike who was shifted to hospital due to deteriorating health condition.
According to the statement issued today, the protesting employees started protest against the non seriousness of the administration which failed to resolve the genuine demands of the JDA employees.
JDA Employees Union leaders said despite assurance from vice chairperson JDA about redressal of their demands within fifteen days the administration has failed to concede to their demands.
Meanwhile President of JDA Employees Union, Ashok Singh Jamwal sat on fast for 48 hours in support of the ongoing strike in support of demands of JDA employees. However Ashok Singh was shifted to Govt Hospital Gandhi Nagar, Jammu by the Station House Officer, Trikuta Nagar Police Station keeping into consideration the bad health of protesting JDA Union leader who was immediately replaced by Anil Bakshi & Zakir Hussain |
