| Mother, daughter commit suicide | | |
EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu June 13: A mother and daughter committed suicide by jumping into Ranbir canal on Tuesday morning. The concerned police has registered case in this regard. Sunita Devi wife of Varinder Singh of Dehradoon at present Barnai and her daughter Neha (6) took the extreme step near Dayal House on Jammu Akhnoor road. Her minor son Surya who also made suicide bid by jumping in the canal, however, was rescued by army men. The bodies of two deceased were fished out during a rescue operation. The reason behind the extreme step yet has not been ascertained by police. However a case under section 309 RPC has been registered in this connection by Domana police. |
