NPSU accuses Higher Education Deptt of discrimination against Jammu | | | early times report jammu, June 14 : National Panthers Student Union (NP-SU) have accused higher education department for injustice with students of Jammu. In a meeting at party office Jammu, Partap Singh Jamwal (Pradesh President NPSU said that higher education department is planning double blow to student of Jammu region in upcoming session. He said already the state government has hiked fees for various under graduate degree courses by 10 to 15% and now higher education is planning to reduce seats in colleges of cities up to 30% which is directly going to effect student badly. Atul Sudan (Provincial Secretary NPSU) said that in clear discrimination with Jammu province candidates have to undergo entrance test for posts of contractual lecturers while there is no such provision for the students of Kashmir province. He said the education system of whole state in ruined and it need to look into seriously. On the occasion Deepak Raj Pandey (Rural President NPSU) warned the higher education department and state government to stop the injustice and discrimination with the student of Jammu or face strong protests by students community.
