| Himalayan College organises Blood Donation Camp | | | early times report
Rajouri, June 14 : As World Donor,s Day has been celebrated across the globe Himalayan Degree College Rajouri and Himalayan College of Education Rajouri in collaboration with Distt Red Cross Society Rajouri also organised a Blood Donation camp at Himalayan College Rajo-uri besides felicitating the regular donors of the area on the occasion.
The Theme of the progr-amme was "Every Blood Donor is a Hero" on which the students of the college as well as members of the civil society and the officers of Health Dept including Dr. Zahoor Shawl, Sadiq Khan, Talib Malik, Pankaj Chandan, Shafqat Mir, Rajesh Gupta and many others deliberated and inspired the young scholars for greater involvement in the blood donation to save the suffering humanity. Besides this the special part of the event was the blood donation by the students of Himalayan Degree College Rajouri.
A good number of girls and boys donated the blood for which all the necessary arrangement were made by the health department and the college administration. Several regular blood donors were presented the mementoes in order to recognize their selfless service as well as to inspire those who have yet not donated. Falak Mir and Miss Aasia of BA- Part I conducted the proceedings of the dais. |
