‘SSH’ urges ‘SASB’ to start Yatra on time | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, June 14 : The Shiv Sena Hindustan (SSH) has urged upon the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB) to complete the work of clearance of Snow from Yatra track, so that the Yatra could be started on time. In this regard, Sena activists hold a protest against the SASB for its failure to complete all work regarding the clearance of snow from the hilly tracks of yatra. Speaking on the occasion, SSH State President, Rajesh Kesri said, "It is very unfortunate that despite after the announcement for starting the yatra from Jun 25 the board has still failed to complete all the work. As the snow has not been cleared from the tracks, it is eminent that the possibilities to start yatra from June 25 are very low. Condemning the attitude of SASB, Kesri said, every year the board which was meant to provide better facilities to Yatris has been failed in its motive. It is need to re-constitute the board and appoint some new members who can take some steps to provide more facilities to the yatries. The organization has further warned the SASB to start yatra on time otherwise they will be forced to come on roads to continue their protest. Among other participate in the protest were Vikrant Kapoor, Parveen Gupta, Anoop, Sushil, Varun Sharma, Rajesh Handa, Ajay, Rajkumar and Meva Ram. |
