| PDP Youth Wing holds protest against PHE Deptt | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 14: To lodge their protest against PHE Department, the Peoples' Democratic Party Youth wing took a massive protest rally in support of their demands.
The protest rally was convened by the youth wing of PDP led by Rajinder Manhas State Vice President and Advocate Gurdeep Singh Pandey State Secretary. The protesters with banners, placards and flags of their party raised slogans against the government.Addressing the demonstrators, Rajinder Manhas accused the Government of totally ignoring the common masses as they are deprived from their basic necessities.
Taking a strong note, he alleged that the functioning of PHE Department is meaning less as the higher officials are unable to redress the grievances of the common masses adding that the people of Jammu West, ward no 12 are facing lot of problems but the department has failed to redress their grievances.
He said that the pipelines are damaged due to which the water get entered into the houses adding that this shows the utter failure of the PHE Department.
Manhas said that the water fee is increasing day by day but the proper supply of water is not provided to the needy.
Gurdeep Singh Pandey accused the coalition Govt of behaving in an arbitrary manner so for as the Sunjwan area is concerned as the locals do not even get water supply for 5 to 6 days and the supply is only for 10 to 15 minutes |
