| Absconder cop wanted in criminal cases arrested | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 14 : Continuing its special drive against the criminals and notorious elements wanted in several cases including murder, rape and dacoity, the police today arrested criminal police constable wanted in many criminal cases including a murder case.
An official spokesman said that accused was wanted in various cases was arrested by Punjab Police with the close coordination of Jammu Police. Jammu Police after seeking his custody from Punjab, has sent the accused to 10 days Police remand.
"A habitual of unlawful activities the wanted accused was served many punishments during his service tenure and faced suspension for four times. Besides this he also had been subjected to surrender one month's pay as fine and diesnon for 100 days, police spokespersons said. Police said apart from this the accused was forfeiture of annual Increment for two times, had been censured for once and even had earned more than 09 major punishments so far during his service.
Police spokesperson said that the accused is wanted in different criminal cases registered under different FIRS at different police stations like FIR No. 66/03 u/s 307/34/RPC, 4/25 A.Act at P/S Vijaypur;
FIR No. 80/06 u/s 395/RPC at P/S Kahnachack; FIR NO. 30/08 u/s 307/364/324/RPC at P/S Vijaypur;
FIR No. 68/08 u/s 451/427/147/RPC at P/S Vijaypur; FIR No. 33/09 u/s 307/323/RPC, 4/25 A Act at P/S Vijaypur and FIR No. 86/2010 u/s 302/307/147/148/149/341/323/109/RPC, 4/25 A. Act at P/S Bishnah
Police further said the accused is used to threaten witness in the cases in which he is an accused and is
a close associate of Raja Singh S/O Nagar Singh the main accused of much hyped Amandeep Murder case. "He is a terror in the crime world as a "Hitman" who was professionally trained in weapon handling & professional hit man/killer also had been associated with Bakra group and is also associated of Yogesh Singh @ David S/O Govind Singh R/O Flora Mandi Samba, who is a co-accused in case FIR No. 86/2010 u/s 302/ 307/147/148/149/341/323/109/RPC, 4/25 A. Act of P/S Bishnah and a dreaded criminal alongwith six accused namely Sunny Singh S/O Prabhu Singh R/O Deoli Bishnah, Vishaw Pratap Singh S/O Parveen Singh R/O Preetipur Bishnah, Rajeev Kumar S/O Janak Raj, Pankaj Singh S/O Gopal Singh both R/O of Kotli Mian Fateh Miran Sahib and Prabhu Singh S/O Kashmir Singh R/O Deoli Bishnah.
The arrested accused has also been involved in case FIR No. 69/2012 U/S 392/34/IPC,25/54 A.Act Police Station Sohana, SAS Nagar (Mohalli) and was arrested by Punjab Police with the close coordination of Jammu Police.
After seeking his custody from Punjab, the said absconder has been sent to 10 days Police remand. Further questioning of the accused is going on. |
