Early Times Report
Poonch, June 14 : There was no let up on Thursday in the intermittent firing from across the border at Indian posts along the Line of Control (LoC) in Krishna Ghati sector of Poonch district. Pak troops indulged in unprovoked and heavy arms firing on the post along LoC in Krishna Ghati sector since 2 PM yesterday leaving an army jawan dead and three others injured. This is the second incident of ceasefire violation this week. A Defence spokesman said Pakistani troops opened fire at Indian troops from a position opposite Mendhar Sector using automatic weapons, resulting in serious injury to an army jawan who later succumbed to his injury.
