2 arrested in alleged attack on Vijay Lochan

Jammu, June 14: Nowabad police today have arrested two persons who allegedly have attacked on the president of All J&K Guru Ravi Dass Sabha Jammu Vijay Lochan.
The arrested have been identified as Piran Ditta son of Shana Ram and Raj Kumar son of Aijal Rama of Krishna Nagar,Jammu.
As per police case the attack was allegedly made when a satsang o n the occasion of auspicious 'Sankranti' was being held in the premises of Gurdwara Shri Guru Ravi Dass ji Maharaj, Krishna Nagar, Jammu. However the police was called by a supporter of president of the Sabha and with the timely intervention of police miscreants were chased away by police.
An FIR in this regard stands lodged against these miscreants at Police Station Nowabad, Jammu.
Pertinent to mention here that tussle for the president post of Guru Ravi Das Sabha (GRS) now has become visible on the street when party claiming to be the president of the Sabha tried to enter the Ravi Dass temple forcibly.
The issue has assumed tense form along span of time where the both parties are also involved in the legal practices to retain the president ship of the Sabha. The matter is already in the court.
A senior leader of community Piran Ditta has alleged that the other Party led by Vijay Lochan in their consistent approach to attain the presidential post of the sabha is using his political and official approach in the police deptt. Piran Dutta claimed according to the constitution of the sabha a president owes two years tenure on the democratic seat, according to this the existing president of the Sabha Piran Ditta (Retd Post master) who had been on the post since June 2010 has his powers on this behalf he is having every invitations, receipts, and other documents which were forwarded to the president of the sabha by the senders either political Parties or religious associations and thus he has reasons to challenge the claims of Vijay lochan.
