| Police detain father of prime accused | | Laila Khan's disappearance | | early times report
Kishtwar, June 14:- The police took into custody father of Parvaiz Ahmad Tak who happens to be the main accused in Laila Khan's disappearance case.
A joint team of Kishtwar and Maharashtra police was looking for Tak's father who disappeared soon after Laila's luxury car was found on May 28.
The police, however, managed to arrest him for questioning last evening. According to police, his sudden disappearance from his residence raised doubts about his possible involvement in the case.
Police said Tak was being questioned. His interrogation, police believes, is expected to yield vital information.
Meanwhile, Maharashtra police returned empty handed from Kishtwar as the Mitsubishi Company is yet to respond to the police request for keys of the car. The keys were required for opening the GPRS installed in the car.
