| Court serves show cause notice | | Contempt proceedings against SHO RS Pura sought | | early times report
Jammu, June 14: Khakhi again came under scanner when resident of RS Pura leveled serious allegations of corruption and bias against SHO R S Pura Tahir Yousuf Khan. Based on the allegations Munsiff Court issued show cause notice to him.
The notice was issued following the complaint lodged by one Sudarshan Kumar son of Kirpa Ram of Beaspur who demanded criminal contempt proceeding against the SHO who willfully disobeyed the directions of court.
The court vide order number 63/MRSP dated 2.6.2012 directed the SHO to lodge a case against one Dev Raj, who allegedly set on fire the wheat crop of the complainant causing a loss of . Rs 2 lakhs to him.
A dispute between Dev Raj and Sudershan Kumar is stated to be the reason behind the fire incident.
However, the SHO ignored the court direction and refrained from registering a case. The complainant has sought contempt proceedings against the SHO.
