| Tanta deputation calls on CM | | |

A deputation from Tanta area of Thathri called on Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad here today and presented to him memorandum of their demands.
The deputation led by Mr. Mohammad Ashraf urged for developing Tanta as a model village, upgrading middle school at Tanta to high school level and opening of a primary health centre at Tanta.
Other demands projected by the deputationists included construction of Kahra-Tanta road, opening of primary schools at Bagran and Dhanora, establishing veterinary dispensary at Tanta, augmenting power supply and generating employment opportunities for educated unemployed youth of the area.
Chief Minister gave a patient hearing to the deputationists and said that their demands would be looked into. |
