Former councilor booked for brawl with SHO | | | early times report Jammu, June 15: A senior Congress leader and former corporator of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Surinder Singh Shingari was booked for brawl with Station House Officer of Bakshi Nagar Police Station when he went to the Police Station to lodge complaint but reportedly had a hot argument with the concerned SHO on Friday. According to police sources, the former councilor was booked under section 107/51. "The incident took place in presence of other police officers of the police station when former corporator demanded strict action against the person who allegedly assaulted his brother Narinder Singh, sources said further adding, "While Shingari was lodging his complaint, the other party namely Harjeet Singh son of Baljeet Singh along with some persons also came to the police station to lodge complaint against Corporator's brother." They added the situation took an ugly turn when the two sides entered into a heated arguments and the SHO Sameer Jilani, intervened but he was alleged for favouring the rival of former corporator which left Shinagari agitated who in turn entered into hot verbal duel with the police officer. Thereafter police also lodged case against Harjeet Singh under section 341,323 RPC under FIR NO 58/2012 . The former corporator later bailed out
