| Governor’s greetings on Guru Ravi Dass Jayanti | | | JAMMU, FEB 01
Governor Lt. Gen (Retd) S K Sinha has greeted the people of Jammu and Kashmir on Guru Ravi Dass Jayanti.
In a message, the Governor described Guru Ravi Dass as a reformer who stood for the cause of the oppressed and strove for peace and harmony in the society.
The teachings of Guru Ravi Dass influenced millions as he advocated a classless society for everyone to live with dignity and honour, the Governor added.
General Sinha expressed the hope that the day would be celebrated in the true spirit of our composite culture and prayed for peace and tranquility in the State. |
