| Swimming coaching camp held | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 16: A 12 day swimming coaching camp was organised for the children at the Air Force Station, Jammu.
Children in the age group of 5 to 12 years participated in the camp, to learn the art of swimming and to hone their skills in other forms of aquatics.
A total of 35 children, 16 girls and 19 boys were trained during the camp conducted by the swimming coaches namely Corporal M.S.Bisht and Corporal S.Bhandari.
Air Officer Commanding 23 Wing, Air Commodore Nitin Sathe was Chief Guest on the occasion of the concluding function of the camp. Addressing enthusiastic children who participated in the camp, Air Cmde Sathe in his closing address encouraged the children to strive hard to build upon the swimming skills. Air Cmde Sathe also appreciated and commended the dedicated coaches and the Administrators of the camp, for their diligent efforts in the successful organization of the camp. |
