| Male body recovered | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA, June 16: Mystery shrouded the death of an unidentified man, whose partially decomposed body was today found from Kashmir canal at Mah village, an area falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station, Lakhanpur According to police, a reliable source gave information that a male body was noticed in the canal at Mah village. After receiving the information, a police party from P/S Lakhanpur reached the spot and took possession of the body. It looks like that the deceased was murdered by some unknown persons; however, exact cause of the death could be ascertained only after the outcome of post-mortem report, sources said. Meanwhile, Police have registered a case against FIR No 48/2012 under section 302 of Ranbir Penal Code (RPC) stands registered at P/S Lakhanpur and investigation is going on. The dead body is lying in the mortuary of District Hospital, Kathua for identification. |
