| Notorious criminal arrested with sharp edged weapons | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 16: Jammu police today averted a possible killing when they arrested notorious criminal of erstwhile Billu Gang, Vijay Kumar alias Kala with sharp edged weapons.
Naka party of Police Post Gajansoo averted the tragedy when they apprehended one known criminal of erstwhile Billu Gang namely Vijay Kumar alias Kala son of Sansar Chand while he was on his way to Jammu to execute his plan. The alert Naka Party during checking at Karloop, after observing some suspicious movement by the known criminal stopped him and on his search recovered two sharp edged weapons.
A case in this connection has been registered in Police Station Kana Chak under relevant sections. It is worthwhile to mention that 6/7 cases of murder, attempt to murder, extortion etc. have been registered in Police Station Nowabad against the Gangster Kaka. The Criminal in order to avoid Police surveillance and to carry out his activities has changed his original place of residence to Nai Basti, Gajansoo. |
