| US returned absconder held, sent on judicial remand | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 16: Continuing its drive against criminals and absconders, the police today apprehended two absconders including one evading his arrest since 1999 and settled in United States of America (USA). "Identified as Davinder Singh son of Pritam Singh of village Khour Deona settled in America after committing crime. He was booked under section 307,326 RPC by Miran Sahib Police, police sources said.SDPO R S Pura Dewakar Singh giving information said that receiving a specific tip off his arrival in his native village, Miran Sahib, the police conducted a raid at his residence and arrested him.
Police said, "He was later produced before court from where on judge's direction he was sent on 21 days judicial remand.' Meanwhile Miran Sahib police also arrested a Naib Sarpanch evading his arrest since 1994.He was booked under section 4/25 Arms Act. identifeid as Amarjeet Singh son of Satpaul Singh of Basti Govindpura, Tindian Kalan was sent on 21 days judicial remand. |
