UPA breeds corruption, unemployment, inflation: BJYM | | | Early Times Report Jammu, June 17 : Addressing a press conference in Jammu at the party headquarters of Bharatiya Janata Party, National General Secretary BJYM and MLA from Patna (Bihar) Nitin Naveen criticized the Central government and State government as well. He was also accompanied by State President f BJYM Munish Sharma. In a statement he said Congress led UPA government in the past 8 years has only promoted the level of Corruption, Inflation and unemployment in the country. He Said that BJYM under the slogan of "Congress Hatao Desh Bachao" will launch nationwide programmes to educate the general masses about the misdoings of the Central government. Various meetings will also take place at District and Mandal levels to discuss about such issues. Taking a dig at the state government as well he also criticized the work of Omar Abdullah led NC- Congress coalition government. He said lakhs of youth are unemployed in the state despite of having professional degrees in their hands. But inspite of providing jobs to these educated people the State govt. is only concerned about giving jobs to surrendered militants and stone pelters. The Senior leader also said that the Sate government as yet, has not provided the powers to the Panchayats and the local bodies under the 73rd and 74th amendment of the Constitution though it was one of the agendas mentioned in their manifesto before coming into power. This has only resulted in the under development of the state. Raising the interlocutors issue as well the senior leader said that interlocutors have submitted their report but still it has not resolved the issue of Jammu and Kashmir. The report still discriminates between the people of all three regions of the state, Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh. Referring to J&K as an intergral part of the country , he said the solution can only be brought to this issue if the government works with the sincerity. State President BJYM Munish Sharma also stated that BJYM in the coming few months will also launch some campaigns in Colleges and Universities of the State under "Yuva Jodo Abhiyaan" so that more and more youth should be able to join the youth wing of the party and together everyone could work for the betterment of the country. |
