JKOA deliberates upon various demands of banking officials | | | Early Times Report Jammu, June 18: J&K Bank Officers Association (JKOA) Jammu Unit today deliberated over the organisational matters, developments in banking and inter-alia approach to forthcoming negotiations on the charter of demands that have already been submitted to the management of the Bank. During a meeting organized at Press Club Jammu attended by a large number of cadres of all ranks at district levels. The meeting was held with an aim to deliberate over the organis ational matters, the day to day developments of the bank and inter-alia approach to forthcoming negotiations on the charter of demands already submitted to the management of the Bank. The meeting was presided over by S Iqbal Singh, president of the Jammu Unit in which Ravi Gupta, General Secretary of the Association and AIJKBOF presented the welcome address. He apprised the house in details of talks with the management about the issues pertaining to the officers class during the course of past one year. He described the demands as set out in the charter of demands and sought suggestions from the house to consolidate the views and provide a road map to the negotiating team for achieving the maximum. Concluding the programme President S Iqbal Singh thanked all participants for their presence and further stressed upon the officers of the Bank to remain in state of preparedness as the negotiations with the management over the charter of demands is on the cards. |
