| JKDF establishes library for Udhampur lawyers | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 18 : A meeting of the Young Lawyers Association, Udhampur was organised under the leadership of its President Advocate Sunny Mahajan.
While addressing the young Advocates, Mahajan said that the members of the Legal fraternity are one of the most important pillars of society and they play a very vital role in the development of the society.
Mahajan said that the a lot of difficulties were being faced by the Advocates of Udhampur, especially the young Advocates who were facing hardships due to non-availability of proper library facilities in Udhampur.
While expressing his heartiest gratitude to JKDF Chairman Anil Gupta, Mahajan disclosed that during an interaction program with the Young Lawyers of Udhampur, Anil Gupta took stock of the various problems and difficulties being faced by the Advocates of Udhampur especially the Young Advocates.
Mahajan said that now fulfilling his commitment, Gupta has decided to provide all the young Advocates of Udhampur with modern library facilities to each of them for which an amount of Rs 1,62,000/- has already been released as the first installment.
He said that by utilizing the said amount, a number of Advocates have been provided with the latest software of "Supreme Today" (STPL) containing various latest Case-laws, Central Acts, and which covers more than 80 important Journals including All India Reporter, Supreme Court Cases, KLJ, SLJ, Criminal Law Journal, Crimes and many other Journals as well.
On the occasion, all the Young Lawyers expressed their gratitude to the JKDF Chairman who took keen interest in redressing the various difficulties being faced by the Advocates of Udhampur. Among those who also spoke on the occasion include YLA General Secretary Advocate Pankaj Magotra, Advocate Sahil Raina, Advocate Rajesh Jandial, Advocate Pankaj Dubey, Advocate Anil Gupta, Advocate Akhil Dubey, Advocate Pankaj Sharma, Advocate Sania Mahajan, Advocate Vikas Goswami and others. |
