Pirran Ditta defies court order, demands re-election of SGRDS | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, June 18: Ex-president of All J&K Shri Guru Ravi Dass Sabha (SGRDS) Pirran Ditta defying the CJM courts order of approving Vijay Lochan as a unanimously elected president of the Sabha has demanded re-election in the month of July. Ditta alleged that Vijay Lochan in coalition with Kesar Singh, Mulkh Raj, Sham Lal Bassan and many others who are chronic defaulters of the sabha have active support of some politicians. He further alleged that Lochan and his associates forcefully entered and captured the property of Sabha at Krishna Nagar, Jammu worth crores of rupees on June 14 last. Interestingly, Vijay Lochan president SGRDS has filed a case in the Court of Sub-Judge (CJM) Jammu against the Pirran Ditta for halting him via irrational interference in the routine functioning of the Sabha, on which court has issued order of permanently restraining their interference in the functioning of Sabha. While addressing the media persons Pirran Ditta said that the tenure of the present managing committee of the Sabha has completed on June 6 while it has already started the membership process from the month of May which is in full swings and after the completion of membership drive the election of the central Sabha shall be held in the month of July He further said that the Vijay Lochan has failed to justify his claim that under which clause of constitution of Sabha he as elected as a president despite of being an active member of one political party of J&K. " As per the Sabha constitution any Biradri member who is active member of any political party can not hold any office position in the management of Sabha" he added. |
