People yearning for political change in J&K……? | | | early times report Jammu, June 18: NC led coalition continues to run with complacency of good governance, neat and transparent functioning and a corruption free system, people continue to suffer and are fed up on all these fronts for all these are contrary to the claims made by the government . t time when the government hs crossed mid mark in terms of its tenure of six years even s the people have no option to pull on in the present coalition, yet the yearning for big political change is fast gaining momentum. The moot point is have alarm bells started ringing for both NC and Congress much ahead of 2014….? With common masses getting disillusioned with the present coalition government , the ruling allies re unconcerned with their grievances and complaints , no matter these are getting louder and more visible by the dy. Opposition parties, particularly PDP which happens to be the min rival of NC has exhausted itself crying almost in wilderness that government and governance re nowhere to be seen. That government has become defunct on almost every front is seen not only in its day to day functioning but almost on bigger issues which directly or indirectly impact the lives of common masses. Political pundits and observers have it so to there is virtually nothing on the ground . One only wonders what is the government doing and on what fronts it has engaged and busied itself so much so that it has no time for common masses or their plight on innumerable fronts. The fact remains that government is doing some work and whatever little or bid it is doing , that is only making difference in their own political constituencies and in consolidating their political agenda. It is now widely known that almost all the ministers of both Congress and NC are working and seen nourishing their own constituencies in terms of the development works . For reasons clear they re in for criticism even from the legislators of their own parties , who have been left high and dry as no minister not even from respective parties re paying heed to their demands . Slowly yet visibly, resentment is brewing within the legislators of ruling allies which is signaling bad omen for the parties in terms of defining future course of politics in the state. It my sound unrealistic and weird for the powers that be, but some political waves re in offing that may turn the tide against them , if the government fails to act and deliver. Both the alliance partners my take the murmur of Third Front s something impractical and impossible to see the light of day but there are strong signals and indications that the Third Front formation is not merely n attempt by few political stalwarts to help themselves get stronger s political front but is commensurate with the wishes and aspirations of the people who re yearning for change in the state, much like what there was in the year 2002 when people mandated for coalition system .
