Jammu, June 18: Gurinder Jit Singh today took over as the new Inspector General of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Jammu.
Singh will succeed former IG, A M Mohammad, who had retired in April, a CRPF spokesperson said here.
The 1967-batch officer was posted at the CRPF headquarters in New Delhi and has already served six years in Jammu and Kashmir in various capacities, he said.
