60 challaned for tinted films, 140 for violation of norms

Rajouri, June 19: Continuing drive against traffic rule defaulters and usage of tinted glasses, the police challaned about 140 vehicles for violating rules and besides this authorities also challaned 60 vehicles for usage of tinted glasses and also removed the films from the window panes of vehicles. A mobile traffic naka was today laid in and around Rajouri town by traffic cops under the supervision of SP Traffic Jammu Rural, IPS Surjit Kumar along with DySP Traffic Rajouri-Poonch Range, Khalid Amin and DTI Rajouri Tahir Hussain.
Meanwhile some traffic personals today removed black films voluntarily from their own official vehicles following the Apex court's order in this regard.
Talking with media persons senior traffic officials said that we have swung our machinery for full implementation of ban over use of black film in the region.
