| Bajrang Dal, VHP protest against hardliner separatist Geelani | | | early times report
kathua, June 19: Bajrang Dal and VHP jointly protested against the Chairman of Hurriyat Conference (G) Syed Ali Shah Geelani on his statement saying suppression and curbs by the state government will again lead to armed struggle in Kashmir. Led by Distt President Bajrang dal Ajay Tak and Sandeep Singh, VHP Dewaker Sharma, Davinder Sharma, Sohan Lal Pawan and Pankaj the protestors amidst anti Geelani sloganeering claimed that the statement has been deliberately made in the background of the oncoming Amarnath Yatra to create an atmosphere of tension they by jeopardizing the Yatra.
They said it is to be a plot to disrupt the Yatra and gave a stern warning to the Hurriyat that religious intolerance will not be tolerated. "it has been evident from the past that Geelani has always been seeking opportunity to create unrest in the valley especially at the time of Yatra to utter venom thereby creating a communal tension among the two communities to fulfill his political ambitions and please ISI and Pakistan" said a VHP leaders. Speakers alleged that this is the overall conspiracy in the backlight of which Geelani and others are attempting to create a communal tension in the valley and further to achieve their evil motives Geelani and his supporters are playing the stealth Jihad to justify armed revolt of Kashmiri Muslims in the background of alleged atrocities perpetrated on them by security forces. |
