| UCC beat Devils King to enter semis | | Summer Premier League U-16 Cricket | |

JAMMU, June 20: United Cricket Club (UCC) today became the first side to qualify for the semifinals of ongoing Summer Premier League under-14 Cricket Tournament at Green Field ground, here.
In the last league tie, UCC registered a 43 runs win over Devils King. Earlier, batting first, after winning the toss, UCC set a target of 103 runs for the loss of four wickets in given 15 overs. Akshay made highest 69 runs while Ajay and Rishav contributed 22 and 12 runs respectively. From Devils King, Vishal, Ajay, Aman and Pankaj shared apiece each.
Later, Devils King could not chase the total and bowled out for just 59 runs in 13 overs. Vipul remained top scorer with 30 runs. No other batsman could touch the double figure mark. Ajay bagged two wickets from UCC, followed by Achut, Vjay and John, who shared one each. |
