JAMMU, June 20: Jammu and Kashmir Tug of War Association today finalized its team for the forthcoming 10th Federation Cup Senior National Tug of War (men and women) Championship to be held at Sports ground of Punjabi University Patiala in Punjab from June 22 to June 24.
The team was selected under the guidance of Association president, Hardeep Singh Anand. The championship shall be played in different weight categories of 640 kg for men and 620 kg for women as also a mixed event of 560 kg.
The final selected team also interacted with the president, Hardeep Singh, secretary, Ravinder Singh, joint secretary, Jodh Singh Isher, treasurer, Kuldeep Gupta, chairman of Unique Public School, Jasvir Singh and Ajay Peshin.
Earlier, the selected probable under went a five-day coaching camp held at Unique Public Higher Secondary, School, Gadigarh.
The Team: Ankush, Ravinder Singh, Gurdev Singh, Mohit Bhati, Mudasir Ahmed Naik, Umar Abdula Dar, Rajinder Sharma, Arif Sohail, Tarif Sohail, Pawandeep Singh, Kanwaldeep Singh, Rakesh Kumar, Mohit Gupta, Rohit Kumar, Harpreet Singh, Yawar Abass, Rasid Bhar, Ajay Kumar, Pawandeep Singh, Pankaj Sharma, Dileshwar Singh, Rajan Kumar Tajinder Kaur, Kajal Mahajan, Navneet Kaur, Anita Sharma and Gurvinder Kaur. The team is accompanied by Ajay Sharma, Ankush Badyal and Anita Gupta as coaches while Ravinder Singh and Raman Sharma are managers. |
