| Missing child recovered in Jammu, 2 held | | | early times report
Jammu, June 20: Jammu Police today recovered a missing child and arrested two persons. A missing report of a three-year-old child was lodged at Katra Police Station and the message was flashed in almost all the police stations of the state," a police official here said. He said an alert was sounded and a vigil was being kept in locations like bus stand, railway station and other areas. "Based on suspicion, two persons were found along with a child this morning and they were detained on the spot and were brought to Janipur Police Station," police added. During the course of investigations, it was found that the child was missing from Katra town, they said adding, "the parents of the child have been informed and they have reached Jammu."The child will be handed over to the family," police said and added that the accused will be sent to Katra for further investigations.
