'Magisterial probe demanded in incident of use of force against protestors

Kathua, June 20: The Panthers Party under the chairmanship of its district President Ravinder Pathania demanded 'magisterial inquiry' to probe the police action on the protesters in Billawar and alleged the concerned SHO Billawer has not sought other from the magistrate. In a press conference held here Panthers Party leaders alleged that lathi charge was illegal as the SHO had not taken orders from the magistrate and said that locals were demonstrating peacefully for the restoration of regular water supply. The protesters have alleged the hand of Minister Manohar Lal in this whole episode as he wanted to settle scores with Manoj Gupta who was leading the protestors.
