Surprise raids in govt offices, 5 found absent | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
RAJOURI, June 20: Following instructions regarding steps against prevalent absenteeism from Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Saugat Biswas, a high level team today conducted surprised raids and found five government employees absent from their duties. "All these employees were from Tehsil Social Welfare Office of Rajouri but visiting team was taken to suspire when they the attendance register of this office too was not available during their surprise visit, sources said. A team under the supervision of DC Rajouri and headed by Tehsildar (Probational) Mohd Nasib and Ist Class Magistrate Som Raj Sharma found five employees were found absent from their duties in Tehsil Social Welfare office and several other defaults came into light. Team which conducted these raids will formulate up a report which will be submitted to DC Rajouri for further actions. Talking with media persons, Ist Class Magistrate Som Raj Sharma said we have conducted these surprise raids after instructions by DC Rajouri and a report regarding absent of employees from duty and other defaulters will soon be submitted to DC Rajouri and further course of action will be taken by him. |
