The Assistant Director, Consumer Affaris and Public Distribution, Udhampur, Mr. Arvind Sharma was accorded affectionate farewell by the staff of CA&PD on his superannuation from government services in a function held here today.
Mr. Sharma rendered over 35 years meritorious services in different capacities. Initially, he started his career in 1970 from Information and Public Relations Department, J&K Government in /Directorate of Information, Information Secretariat, three years in Personal Section of the then Chief Secretary Mr. S. Banerjee and one year with Minister of State for Information, Tourism and Ladakh Affairs.
From March 4, 1978 onwards till the date of his retirement, he joined Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution Department and rendered his services in this department as Tehsil Supply Officer, Reasi, Banihal and Assistant Director, CA&PD Jammu, Reasi and Udhampur.
His successor, Tehsil Supply Officer and staff of the department described him a dedicated and kind officer and wished him all the success for his life after retirement.
