| NCC cadets of GDC, Doda returns after attending NIC camp | | | early times report
doda, June 20: 18 cadets including 8 girls of NCC (Army Wing) Unit Government Degree College Doda who recently attended the National Integration Camp (NIC) at Bhubaneshwar (Odisha) returned here today.
The cadets were warmly welcomed by the Principal and Staff of the GDC Doda. These cadets participated in various competitions and bagged second position in National Integration Awareness Presentation (NIAP), Group Song and in Poetry recitation. The Cadets were trained by Capt. Babu Ram Rakwal and Major Paramjeet Singh of 2 J&K (I) NCC Coy Bhaderwah
The Students who represented the state in Group Song Competition includes Pankaj Sharma, Shakti Jaral, Amit Kumar, Pooja Rana, Neeraj Padha, Susheela Devi, Akashdeep Singh, Jyoti Devi, Manish Dogra and Poonam Katoch.
In National Integration Awareness Programme (NIAP) all the Cadets who accompanied the tour represented the J&K state and got second position in the Competition. Mukesh Parihar presented the poetry titled "NIC Bhubaneshwar" got 2nd Position at national level.
Others who attended the Camp includes Meenakshi Parihar, Anjana Bhagat, Arti Devi, Sanjeep Sharma, Amir John, Sudhir Katoch, Ripen Singh, Manmohan Singh, Narinder Singh, Omkar Singh, Mukesh Kumar, Umairullah and Sandesh Kumar.
