| JK Govt approves Rs 9,646.77 lakh annual plan for Doda | | | early times report
jammu, June 20 : The hilly and mountainous district of Doda in Jammu region today got Rs 9,646.77 lakh annual plan which was approved by the District Development Board. The Board met under the chairmanship of Health Minister Sham Lal Sharma, at Doda, about 175 km from here. Sharma said the government is committed to providing better facilities in various fields to the people in every nook and corner of the state for which the Centre is providing liberal funding under various schemes and progr-ammes. He said massive road connectivity programmes have been launched to accelerate economic activities in hilly areas and efforts were on to provide better civic amenities and other social infrastructures. |
