Ex Union Minister 'Joshi' to address seminar on Interlocutors report | | | early times report jammu, June 20 : Jammu and Kashmir People's Forum (JKPF) is organizing a Seminar on June 23 at Jammu Club Auditorium wherein Dr Murli Manohar Joshi, veteran parliamentarian and former Union Minister will be the key speaker besides other eminent personalities of law-makers, writers and educationists who will speak on Report of Interlocutors on J&K. The objective of the seminar is to bring the salient features - commissions and omissions of this Report to the public. "The Report goes against the sovereignty and integrity of the country when it deals with the J&K territory under occupation with Pakistan since 1947 by giving a new terminology of Pak-administered J&K instead of POK and completely ignoring the future of refugees from that area, spokesperson said and it also has offered no solutions for the West Pakistan refugees, Kashmiri migrants and other war-affected and terrorism-affected people. "Article 370 of the Indian Constitution has been dealt with in a way which is unacceptable to the nation. All other aspects of the Report seem to have been brought out under the influence of Government of India, separatists and anti-national forces and, therefore, need to be totally rejected, he added. |
