Jammu, June 20: The under trial Choudhry Nagar Singh, arrested in number of cases which including fudging of weapon and hiring supari killers to kill the witnesses in Amandeep murder case, was hospitalized after he complaint of chest congestion in Hiranagar jail.
Sources said, "He (nagar Singh) present lodged in Hiranagar jail was rushed to GMC Hospital where he was admitted in Intense Care Unit (ICU). However after due medical treatment when the Nagar Singh's condition became stable he was again shifted back to the jail.
Pertinent here to mention that Nagar Singh, father of Jatinder Singh alias Raja, who shot dead Amandeep Singh on August 29, 2009, was arrested along with five others including the former SSP Jammu Manohar Singh after police registered case FIR number 247 of 2009 by the SIT. Nagar Singh was an accused of having committed offence under section 201, 409 and 120-B RPC (fudging of weapon of offence). |
