| Rs 20.28 crore to be spent under rural sanitation schemes | | | UDHAMPUR, FEB 01 Director Rural Sanitation, Mr Shabir Khan reviewed the achievements registered under Total Sanitation Campaign in district Udhampur in a meeting held under his chairmanship here today. Additional District Development Commissioner Udhampur, Mr Khurshid Ahmed Bhat, Assistant Commissioner Development Udhampur, Mr Anil Gupta, Assistant Director Rural Sanitation, District Panchayat Officer Udhampur, Dr Raman Kesar and block development officers were also present in the meeting. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Khurshid Ahmed Bhat gave a detailed resume of achievements of the scheme in various blocks of the district and assured the chair that 100 percent targets would be achieved during current fiscal. The target of constructing School Sanitation Units has been achieved in full, the ADDC maintained. The meeting was also apprised that revised plan of the district is likely to be approved shortly which would be of the order of covering 2900 School Sanitation Units, 652 community complexes, 25 anganwari units and 48880 Individual House Hold Latrines (IHHL) to be executed at an approximate of Rs 20.28 crore in the district.
