BJP appeals for mass arrests today

SRINAGAR, June 21: BJP State President Shamsher Singh Manhas while continuing his massive touring of individual wards falling under Jammu Municipal Corporation, chaired meetings in W Nos 20, 21, 22, 23, 40, 42, 43, 45, 47, 48, 49, 50, 51, 53, 54, 55, 56 and 57.
He was accompanied by National Executive Member & Chief Spokesperson Dr. Jitendra Singh, State General Secretary Sat Sharma and Jammu District President Rajesh Gupta.
While addressing the local senior leaders and party activists of the respective wards, Shamsher Singh Manhas said that a massive show of strengthen tomorrow has become all the more important in view of the approach of Congress led UPA as well as NC-Congress coalition in J&K towards the burning problems confronting the people.
He said that it has become a routine matter that whenever Congress comes to power at the Centre or shares it with any Kashmir-centric political party in our state there is corruption, price-rise, lack of essential commodities, mis-governance, law & order problem and resentment among the masses. He appealed the party activists to come out in large to court arrests tomorrow alongwith the visiting Member of Parliament & BJP Mahila Morcha National President Smriti Irani.
Addressing the gathering, State BJP Spokesperson Dr. Jitendra Singh said that Congress has, both alone as well as in coalition with other political parties, always burdened the nation with corruption, price-rise, black-money, nepotism and disrespect to the nation.
