SOS seeks judicial intervention for FIR | | | Jammu, June 21 (JNF) : In the much publicized PIL seeking CBI probe into cross-voting by Seven MLAs of BJP during elections of six seats of MLCs on April 13, 2011, the petitioner SOS International has filed a fresh application before the State High Court seeking to place on record a copy of Complaint dated June 14, 2012 lodged by Rajiv Chuni Chairman SOS International whereby he has requested the Vigilance Commissioner to register FIR u/s 5(2) Prevention of Corruption Act and other relevant provisions of RPC and Representation of Peoples Act against all those MLAs of BJP who for extraneous considerations indulged in cross Voting on April 13, 2011, when elections were held for six seats of J&K Legislative Council. In the complaint it is submitted that despite media expose and proven cross-voting on extraneous considerations, the Speaker of J&K Legislative Assembly preferred to remain silent and rightly so as the ruling alliance was the beneficiary of the cross voting and no investigation was ordered nor any house committee was constituted to identify the culprits who abused their official position as Public Servants by indulging in cross-voting contrary to the Whip issued by Chief Whip of the Party. It is further alleged that prior to the election held on April 13, 2011 some key functionaries of the ruling alliance played a pivotal role to purchase the BJP MLAs and those key functionaries were in regular touch with the BJP MLAs promising them green pastures. The complainant has also referred a Vehicle NO DL4C-1617 which was allegedly used for collecting money. This revelation is just a tip of the ICE-BERG as a thorough investigation would unearth this cross-voting SCAM and many heads are likely to roll who facilitated the victory of the candidates belonging to the ruling coalition by indulging in corrupt practices. The complainant has further alleged that the call details of all 11 MLAs of BJP and also call details of both the advisors of the Chief Minister and the call details of all the council of ministers are required to be examined particularly from the period April 1, 2011 to April 14, 2011. Besides this the bank accounts of all the 11 MLAs of BJP and their family members are also required to be examined. Besides this all MLAs of BJP are required to be subjected to Brain Mapping/Narco Test so that truth comes out and the guilty MLAs are brought to book. The petitioner has also stated that two MLAs of BJP Baldev Sharma MLA REASI and Lal Chand MLA Bani had volunteered on April 22, 2011 to undergo Narco Test. The petitioner has stated that instant case is unique case of political corruption and an SIT of Eminent/Honest Officers is required to be constituted so that investigation reaches to its logical conclusion. |
