| Special prayer meeting held at Alam Sahib Shrine, Narwara | | | Srinagar, February 01
Special prayer meetings are going on in Alam Sahib shrine Narwara, Srinagar from Ist Muharram-ul-Harram and will conclude on 29th Saffar-ul- Muzzafar, the day Hazrat Imam Hassan (RA) was martyred.
Holy relics were displayed here the other day for the devotees. The relics would also be displayed on 18th Muharram-ul-Harram and 29th Saffar-ul-Muzzafar after every salat.
It is pertinent to mention here that during 9th century Hijra, Hazrat Mir Syed Ahmad Kirmani (RA) the descendent of Prophet Mohammad (SAW) alongwith his son Hazrat Syed Mussafir Kirmani (RA) arrived here with a box containing relics, which he received from his family in Madina. Later, these relics were handed over to Hazrat Baba Masood-ud-din (RA) for safe keeping and are displayed for the devotees since then.
