| Taekwondo players earn name for Kargil' | | | early times report
kargil, June 21: By winning medals every year at the state and national level, the young brigade of Taekwondo players has earned a name for this remote place of Kargil.
This was stated by Executive Councilor for Agriculture and Revenue of LAHDC Kargil, Haji Ghulam Amir during an interaction with medal winner taekwondo players in the recently held divisional level inter-district meet.
He congratulated the players, their parents and mentors for brining laurels to the place. However, he mentioned that focus should also be on other sports of athletics, boxing, taekwondo and archery.
Among others present were District Youth Service and Sports Officer, Kargil, Haji Mirza Hussain and senior vice president of J&K Taekwondo Association, Gulzar Hussain Munshi.
