Acting upon a written complaint by Crime Branch Kashmir, Srinagar on behalf of the Competent Authority, Entrance Examination regarding production of RBA certificate by one Shagufta Aziz D/O Abdul Aziz R/O Kangan, Tehsil Kangan, to manage her selection for MBBS course. The investigations conducted into the matter revealed that the said lady is actually residing in Ganderpora, Eidgah, Srinagar and in connivance with her father, some civil, and concerned revenue authorities managed to pretend that she is daughter of a person residing in backward area of Kangan.
The crime has been committed by Shagufta Aziz, Abdul Aziz Malyari, Abdul Aziz Wani R/O Kangan, Mohammad Subhan Wani, the then Patwari Kangan, Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh, Office orderly, Tehsil Office, Kangan, Abdul Gaffar Wani, R/O Kangan, Jallaludin Sheikh, R/O Kangan, Ghulam Nabi Bajad, R/O Kangan, Bashir Ahmade Parray, Ex-clerk, Tehsil Office Kangan, Late Ghulam Rasool Rather, Chowkidar, Kangan and Abdul Ahad Rather, Numberdar, Kangan.
